Code Gate on links

The lock symbol in your link settings allows you to access different options to gate that specific link. These options include a Sensitive Content label, Age Gate, and now a Code Gate.

By enabling the Code Gate feature on your link, your visitors will be required to enter a 4-digit code before they are able to access the exclusive content found behind the link.

Please Note: Only a 4-digit numerical value can be used. The Code Gate does not accept any other character values (letters or symbols).

To set your code and create a Code Gate to your links, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Linkdaily Admin

  2. Create your link that you would like to gate

  3. Under the link URL, select the lock icon

  4. From the dropdown options, check off the 'Code' option

  5. Enter the 4-digit code that your visitors will need to enter to unlock the link

  6. Provide a short description for the gated link

And that's it! The Code Gate is now activated on your Linkdaily profile.
