Using your Analytics

When you log in to your Linkdaily Admin, you will see at the top a tab showing your Analytics. In this article, we'll walk you through how to use your Analytics, whether you're using Free or the extended Analytics that come with PRO.

View Analytics with Free

With our Free subscription, you get some simple analytics that is still meaningful if you know how to use them.

You'll find the Analytics at the top of the Admin on the Links tab. The number you see there is the total number of Views your Linkdaily has had in its lifetime.

What counts as a View?

A view is every time your Linkdaily is viewed. For example, if 1 visitor lands on your Linkdaily once, that is counted as 1 view. If that visitor visits your Linkdaily another 3 times, that is another 3 views which now equals 4 views. If 100 visitors land on your Linkdaily 2 times, then your views count will be 200.

You can also see a count of how many times each of your different links have been clicked, by clicking the chart icon beneath each individual link.

What counts as a Click?

A click is when a visitor clicks on one of your links. For example, if a visitor on your Linkdaily clicks on 3 different links, your click count total would be three, but you can see exactly which links they are clicking in the dropdown Analytics on each link.

Can I reset my Clicks?

You currently are unable to reset your clicks. However, if you want this feature, please send in a feedback request to our support team and we can pass on the feedback to our product team for future updates of our Analytics feature.

Are my own test Clicks included?

Yes, these clicks will be included in your Analytics. Please allow up to 15 minutes for the data to refresh and your clicks to appear in your click count.

Did you know?

On average, each visitor to a Linkdaily clicks 1.8 links - almost double the amount of engagement you get with a single link in bio.

The chart at the very top of the Links tab in your Linkdaily admin shows your Lifetime Linkdaily Views. If you're a PRO user, it also shows your Lifetime Clicks along with views and clicks per day, for up to 90 days.

How you can use your Analytics insights

Keep track of your Views and Clicks and you'll be able to work out which call-to-action is getting your audience onto your Linkdaily page, and which links they're engaging with when they get there.

Try moving less popular links further up your Linkdaily, or deleting them if they don't perform. Test out different copy on your buttons and see how that changes the View Count. Before long, you'll become accustomed to making content decisions based on how your links perform.

Advanced Analytics

With PRO, you get an extra layer of insight into how your Linkdaily is performing. You'll find your Analytics at the top of the Links tab in Admin. The first view shows you the total Lifetime Clicks, Views, and Click-Through Rate % ('CTR').

Hit the drop-down arrow on the right and your Analytics chart will appear. This shows you the number of Clicks (green), Views (purple), and CTR (blue) over the last 7 days. You can also toggle the chart to show the last 90 days. The dates here are shown in US format, with the month followed by the date.

Analyze specific links

You can also see the lifetime performance of each individual link, along with Clicks, Views and CTR for the last 7 days. This can really help you pinpoint the engagement and hone your content strategy accordingly. This is a great way to measure the performance of your links on a daily basis.

What is 'CTR'?

CTR stands for Click Through Rate. It is a way to measure the performance of your links, by telling you the percentage of views that resulted in a clicked link. If your CTR is 52%, then 52% of your views resulted in a click of one of your links. CTR is calculated by dividing the number of clicks by how many views your profile has received. So if you have received 1,000 clicks and 2,000 views, your CTR would be 50% (2000/1000x100).

What is 'Time to Click'?

Your Time to Click is the average time it takes for your audience to land on your Linkdaily profile and then click on one of your links.
